Blue Bloods’ Andrew Terraciano Breaks Silence on the Spinoff Recasting Sean

Blue Bloods star Andrew Terraciano has finally opened up about passing down the role of Sean Reagan after the character was recast in the Boston Blue spinoff.

“It’s beautiful because you’ll always remember every single line and every day that you had the opportunity to be that character,” Terraciano, 22, exclusively told Us Weekly about his time on the hit CBS series. “It doesn’t mean for even a second that somebody else can’t go and do something beautiful with it.”

Terraciano expressed gratitude for his time on Blue Bloods. “I got the joy of playing Sean, and I got to send him off into the world,” he noted. “Now somebody else gets that joy. We’re both getting to show what we do and then send Sean off into the world.”

CBS viewers have gotten very familiar with Terraciano after he got his start playing Donnie Wahlberg‘s onscreen son. The actor appeared in nearly 300 episodes from 2010 to 2024 before the show came to an end. Blue Bloods expanded into Boston Blue, but the role of Sean was recast with newcomer Mika Amonsen.

Boston Blue’s Recasting of Donnie Wahlberg’s Son From ‘Blue Bloods’ Explained

“I had somebody call me — actually the day that I was graduating — and they had spoken to my mom and she called me [crying]. They were like, ‘They might be looking for a different Sean,’” Terraciano recalled how he learned the news initially. “Shortly after we got the news, Donnie called me. It was a really beautiful moment of getting to hear from an old friend but also somebody that you respect so much and have learned so much from.”

Terraciano appreciated hearing from Wahlberg, telling Us, “We had such an amazing experience on Blue Bloods that when we talk we’ll always be friends and family first. I’m happy that there are so many other people that now get to share in that amazing experience.”

While Terraciano has yet to watch Boston Blue as he focuses on his studies — he is looking forward to checking in.

“I’m going to give it the time and the respect that it deserves,” he noted. “[But in terms of returning in some capacity] I said it to Donnie on the phone. If he says the word, I’ll be there. Not just with Blue Bloods or Boston Blue but with anything in life.”

As Boston Blue has proven to Us, Sean Reagan’s legacy on Blue Bloods has made him beloved to the fans. Terraciano wasn’t expecting the outpouring of love that ensued once he wrapped up his run in the fan favorite role — but he is grateful for the support now.

“I can’t say that I expected it but I appreciate it,” he shared. “It’s so meaningful to know that people love the character that I got to share in creating. I didn’t expect it to say the least.”

When Us spoke to Amonsen in a separate interview, he shared the way he wanted to pay tribute to Terraciano, who was grateful for the thought.

“I appreciate it because not only has there been such an outcry of love from the community but there’s also a very clear love coming to the show,” he explained. “It’s hundreds if not thousands of people who depend on their livelihood for a show to be made. It really is amazing that part of that character remains. Somebody can look back and say, ‘I want to pay homage to that. I want to respect that and I want to work on making something beautiful.’”

Relive the ‘Blue Bloods’ Cast’s Sweetest Moment On and Off Camera

Terraciano made it clear that he walked away from the Blue Bloods set with years-worth of meaningful memories.

“The role provided me with such an insight into not only my own life but the lives of so many others. Because every time that you’re acting, you are learning so much about yourself and about the other person,” he explained. “So when you act with the same people for so long, you get such a deep understanding and you develop such a love for them.”

In addition to Wahlberg, Terraciano got to share the screen with costars such as Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Len Cariou, Will Estes, Marisa Ramirez and Vanessa Ray.

“If they had asked us, I’m sure every single person in the cast would have happily stayed [on Blue Bloods] for the rest of our lives. When we found out that it was the end, I don’t think any of us really let ourselves accept for even a moment that it was a real thing that was ending,” he told Us. “When we had our last dinner scene, we just sat there. For half an hour we just went around the table telling the same old jokes that we had a thousand times before and asking the same questions that we had a thousand times before. None of us were willing to be the first to get up.”

For Terraciano, Blue Bloods provided him with a TV family. He recalled to Us how “emotionally devastating” it felt to film the finale — and how the cast has remained in each other’s lives since then.

‘Blue Bloods’ Cast Has Changed a lot From Season 1 to Season 14: A Look Back

“It was coming to terms with the thought that this opportunity is changing very, very significantly. But because of having had that opportunity, you are all getting propelled into the future in such a beautiful way,” he recalled. “I’m still in touch with a lot of people from the cast and crew. I speak to them fairly often. I’ve made a lot of friends through Blue Bloods that I will never lose.”

The hit CBS series also gave him the role of a lifetime.

“After knowing these people for 15 years, you go out into the world with everything that they’ve given you and you hope that you’ve given them something,” he gushed. “You hold them in your heart and that they’re never gone. It was a weird kind of grief — but Sean had grown into his own thing.”

He continued: “Sean had become who he needed to be by the end of the show. So I was happy to send a character off into the world and I was happy to send my loving friends off into the world.”

Terraciano is currently getting his Masters — but he is also looking forward to other opportunities that may come his way.

“At the end of last spring, I got the fantastic opportunity to work in a dear friend director Sabrina Carlier’s rendition of Annie Baker’s The Antipodes. Not only did I have that amazing opportunity that was my first play that I’ve ever been in but it really pulled me into the theater world,” he explained. “It showed me how much love I have for all forms of acting. I helped produce a friend’s short film recently, and I look forward to every opportunity that I get to act.”

He continued: “You get a passion and you can’t get rid of it to continue to act and continue to participate in creating in any way, shape or form. I would love more than anything to be an actor for the rest of my life. But I’m a huge Star Wars fanatic so I would really do anything [in that universe]. And I would love to try out a sitcom.”

Blue Bloods is streaming on Paramount+.

‘RHOBH’ Stars Tease Season 15 ‘Issues’ at BravoCon: Biggest Revelations

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars are about to serve up an explosive season 15.

The “Livin’ in Beverly Hills” panel took place on Friday, November 14, at BravoCon 2025 and featured the show’s cast — Kathy Hilton, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Jennifer Tilly, Kyle Richards, Bozoma Saint John, Sutton Stracke and Rachel Zoe — giving a first look at what’s to come.

One clip from season 15 featured Dorit reacting to the photos of estranged husband PK Kemsley “kissing another woman” in the streets. (Dorit and PK separated in May 2024. She filed for divorce one year later.)

“I felt like, ‘That’s it,’” she said. “That man, there on the street, I don’t know him.”

‘RHOBH’ Season 15 Trailers Teases Rachel Zoe’s Arrival, Denise Richards Cameo

A separate moment showed Kyle and her four daughters — Farrah, 37, Alexia, 29, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17 — reacting to Mauricio Umansky’s rather public love life. (Kyle and Mauricio separated in July 2023.)

“The last time there was paparazzi pictures of him with some girl at the valet, I texted him and was like, ‘You are doing the absolute most. Tone it down,’” Sophia said. Portia, meanwhile, told her friends that Mauricio is “being a hoe.”

Aside from the women and their relationship issues, Rachel’s return to Bravo seems to be making the most buzz as she got the loudest applause from the crowd. Sutton also confirmed that viewers will get to see what really went down between her and former assistant Avi Gabay.

Keep scrolling for the biggest revelations from the RHOBH BravoCon 2025 panel:

Tension at the Reunion

Kyle noted that Dorit will have the most to answer for when the women film their season 15 reunion. Dorit fired back saying, “I’ll have the most to say.”

“Avi and I had a great run. We had a lot of fun,” Sutton said. “My life has changed. I don’t have any kids at home … I can make my own dentist appointments … I didn’t need a personal assistant … He’s a great guy.”

Erika and Dorit Are Feuding

The RHOBH season 15 trailer teased some drama between Erika and Dorit — and they addressed it on Friday.

“I love Dorit, I lost it on Dorit,” Erika admitted.

Are Kyle and Dorit Friends Again?

There are still some lingering issues between the longtime pals.

“Coming into this season, we were able to make progress and then we made three steps forward and maybe four steps back,” Kyle explained. “There’s a lot of love there and things have been difficult, but I hope to get back there.”

Former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

Where They Stand With Garcelle Beauvais

Garcelle departed the show in March after season 14 came to an end, walking out during the reunion. While on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen earlier this year, Garcelle said she is the most open about reconciling with Kyle — which surprised the women.

“I wish she would have shown me that in person,” Kyle said. “I was really taken aback when she walked off the set at the reunion and unfollowed everybody.”

Sutton and Garcelle haven’t spoken, despite their close friendship on the show.

“As far as I was concerned we were still friends and then she never talked to me again and blocked me on Instagram,” Sutton said. However, she has since “gotten to know these women so much better and feel really bonded now in a way I didn’t feel before.”

More Drama Than Amsterdam

The RHOBH season 5 trip to Amsterdam was iconic, but this season might have its own drama-filled trip.

“Let’s just say it’s what led to the issues between the three of us [Kyle, Dorit and Erika] … it was a very dramatic situation, there was a lot of yelling, screaming and tears,” Kyle teased. “Everyone was left with their mouth hanging open.”

Nathalie Kelley Reveals Ryan Phillippe’s Dynamic With Son on ‘Motorheads’ Set

Nathalie Kelley is opening up about her experience working with Ryan Phillippe and his son, Deacon Phillippe, on the set of their show Motorheads.

“[Deacon is] the most charismatic, polite, thoughtful young man I have ever met,” Kelley, 40 exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, November 10, referring to Phillippe’s son, whom he shares with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, adding that he “gives me hope for the entire gender of men.

“I’m like, wow! If this is what the new generation of men are coming out, looking like, sounding like, acting like, then I feel more at ease about the future of our species,” she continued, while promoting the upcoming short film Yachapa, which highlights Quechua weavers and alpaquero families in Peru, and her partnership with alpaca fiber apparel PAKA. “Honestly, what an incredible young man.”

She also recalled how overjoyed Ryan was to let Deacon spread his wings for the Amazon Prime drama.

“I think it was [Deacon’s] first major acting role, and super sweet to see the father-son dynamic and how proud Ryan was,” Kelley said. “Ryan was trying to navigate how much to interfere and how much to let him be in his own process. I learned a lot from having my own kids on the show, from observing Ryan as a father and just realizing, like, how beautiful that the cycle of life is.”

Kelley explained that her time on the Motorheads set also “taught me a lot about motherhood,” describing the experience as “a really transformative process for me.”

“Because at the end of it, I decided that I actually did want to have children, and before that, I hadn’t wanted to. So it’s really beautiful how art and life mimic and imitate and feed one another,” she added. “I’ll always be grateful to Motorheads for giving me that kind of awakening and realization.

Kelley, who was born in Peru before moving to Australia, has already had a full circle moment in her partnership with PAKA, fulfilling a two-decade promise to herself.

Ryan Phillippe Shows Off His Rock-Hard Abs at Age 50

“I grew up in Australia, which is [on] the other side of the world from Peru, and when I came home for the first time after moving there very young, I saw so much injustice and so many wrongs that I wanted to right when it came to my indigenous community. And I made a promise when I was 18 years old, that one day I was going to do something to right these wrongs and to make up for the fact that I had left,” she said. “I’d never forgotten that promise.”

For Kelley, accomplishing that goal was “my sweet surprise full circle moment.” And she’s not done yet.

The “Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift” star has “found a purpose” after reconnecting with her Peruvian roots.

“It feels like it’s just the beginning,” she told Us. “I realize that what they are looking for, beyond help, is allyship, and what Kris [Cody] is doing with PAKA, and what I can do as a storyteller with influence, with global influence, is be their allies and stand by and stand beside them.”

Kelley said they are shining a light on “a supply chain that needs a lot of justice and reorienting, so that we can make sure that the people behind the alpaca fiber are being honored, as well as the animals and the ecosystems.”

She also shared that it’s important the local Quechua weavers are “being properly compensated and integrated into the supply chain in a meaningful and just way.”

“This is just the first step. Kris and I have a lifelong mission there,” Kelley teased.

Tiffany Haddish Confirms She’s Still Ready to Carry Jason Lee’s Child

Tiffany Haddish is not shutting down the idea of having a baby anytime soon.

Haddish, 45, exclusively spoke with Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 28, at the 2025 PAC NYC ICONS of CULTURE Gala at the Perelman Performing Arts Center in New York. The comedian and actress told Us about the baby “agreement” she has with her “gay homeboy” Jason Lee.

“We have this whole agreement [that] when he wants to have a baby or whatever, I’m going to carry the baby,” Haddish told Us. “I’ve always been saying to him, let’s have a baby. Let’s have a baby.”

Haddish and Lee, 47, sent the internet into a frenzy back in August when the two shared a photo on Instagram of them posing with an infant. The post, which now has over 246,000 likes and 4,000 comments, was captioned: “Cats out the bag ❤️.” Many fans and fellow celebrities were left wondering what this meant for the duo.

Who Is Jason Lee? Meet the Podcaster Friends With Tiffany Haddish

Haddish was married to William Stewart from 2008 until she filed for divorce in 2011. The divorce was finalized two years later. Haddish dated rapper Common from 2020 to 2021 after they met on the set of action-comedy The Kitchen, in which they starred alongside Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, Margo Martindale and more.

Haddish told The Washington Post in 2023 that Common, 53, was her “healthiest” relationship, despite him breaking up with her over the phone.

“[It was] the healthiest, the funnest [sic] relationship I’ve ever had,” Haddish shared in the interview with The Post. “It’s where I felt safest out of all the relationships I’ve ever had.”

In May 2024 Haddish spoke about her dating preferences on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.

“I don’t think I’ll ever f*** a movie star. Ever,” Haddish said. “I fed an entertainer. I don’t think I’ll ever do that again. I think I’ll f one again, but never in a relationship.”

Haddish told Us that a future partner needs to have a “good credit score,” and also be an “excellent communicator.”

Tiffany Haddish’s Ups and Downs Through the Years

“They need to have an EIN [Employer Identification Number]. I need to know that they know how to handle multiple personalities at one time,” Haddish said. “So that’s why I need them to have an EIN with employees and know how to motivate people to move forward to do great things. Cause that’s what I’m going to need.”

Haddish also provided recent insight on what else she’s looking for in future relationships in the trailer for her new Peacock series, Tiffany Haddish Goes Off. In the unscripted series, which is set to premiere on Thursday, November 13, Haddish and three of her childhood friends travel throughout Africa on the ultimate girls trip.

In the trailer, one of Haddish’s friends asks her, “What would you want your man to call you?” To which Haddish responds: “Empress of the universe.”

Inspired by the 2017 film Girls Trip, which starred Haddish alongside, Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith, the six-episode docuseries seems to include heartwarming moments between Haddish and her girlfriends, Selena Martin, Shermona Long and Sparkle Clark, as well as a tease to a potential wedding ceremony with Haddish upfront and center.

Frankie Muniz Says He Hasn’t Spoken to Hilary Duff in 22 Years

Frankie Muniz is ready to set the record straight on where his relationship with former costar Hilary Duff currently stands.

“There’s another story I haven’t told, and I don’t know if I want to tell it, but maybe I will. It’s been a long time,” Muniz, 39, shared on a September episode of “The Joe Vulpis Podcast” hosted by Joe Vulpis. “I was on the set of Lizzie McGuire, and I was in Hilary’s dressing room and her mom was there. Her mom was — I’m going to say — the epitome of a stage mom, momager. … Hilary was so cool, we had an awesome relationship, but her mom was super intense. My mom was the opposite.”

After Lizzie McGuire premiered in 2001, Duff, 38, asked Muniz — who was starring in Malcolm in the Middle at the time — to appear on her Disney Channel show as himself.

The actor said that Duff was one of the “first friends” he met after moving to Los Angeles, but their friendship was not able to stand the test of time after the actor claimed Duff’s mom questioned his career plans.

‘Lizzie McGuire’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

“Her mom was like, ‘Do you know what you’re doing this summer? What are you doing this summer?’” he recalled. “And I go, ‘Oh, I’m filming this movie where I’m playing like a junior James Bond. It’s called Agent Cody Banks.’”

When Duff’s mom questioned if the movie’s team was looking for an actress, Muniz stayed mum but knew “I had the say of who the girl was going to be.”

Although he initially thought Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk was going to take the role, he was surprised to learn Duff booked the film one day later.

“Needless to say, I wasn’t thrilled about it. And not because I didn’t want it to be Hilary,” he said. “I don’t know how much I want to say. I’m trying to think about it because I’ve already said way too much.”

Although Agent Cody Banks was released in 2003 and was a hit at the box office, the movie’s leading characters didn’t exactly stay close.

“I’ve never talked to Hilary since the last day of filming,” Muniz said. “I’ve not said one word to her since then. So that’s the truth of that. No one knows about my Hilary Duff story.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Duff’s reps for comment.

To this day, Muniz said he doesn’t hold any ill feelings towards the former Disney Channel star. In fact, he said he regrets “not just continuing to be friends with her because we had a great friendship for such a long time.”

“I would love to catch up with her,” Muniz added. “I would love to even talk about that because I’m sure she doesn’t know any of that happened.”

Hilary Duff Through the Years: Disney, Motherhood and More

More than two decades after first finding success in Hollywood, both Muniz and Duff remain booked and busy.

Muniz is expected to star in the upcoming Malcolm in the Middle revival.

As for Duff, she recently signed a deal with Atlantic Records to release new music. The “So Yesterday” singer also has a docuseries in the works that will document her long-awaited musical return and personal journey.
