Blue Bloods star Andrew Terraciano has finally opened up about passing down the role of Sean Reagan after the character was recast in the Boston Blue spinoff.
“It’s beautiful because you’ll always remember every single line and every day that you had the opportunity to be that character,” Terraciano, 22, exclusively told Us Weekly about his time on the hit CBS series. “It doesn’t mean for even a second that somebody else can’t go and do something beautiful with it.”
Terraciano expressed gratitude for his time on Blue Bloods. “I got the joy of playing Sean, and I got to send him off into the world,” he noted. “Now somebody else gets that joy. We’re both getting to show what we do and then send Sean off into the world.”
CBS viewers have gotten very familiar with Terraciano after he got his start playing Donnie Wahlberg‘s onscreen son. The actor appeared in nearly 300 episodes from 2010 to 2024 before the show came to an end. Blue Bloods expanded into Boston Blue, but the role of Sean was recast with newcomer Mika Amonsen.
Boston Blue’s Recasting of Donnie Wahlberg’s Son From ‘Blue Bloods’ Explained
“I had somebody call me — actually the day that I was graduating — and they had spoken to my mom and she called me [crying]. They were like, ‘They might be looking for a different Sean,’” Terraciano recalled how he learned the news initially. “Shortly after we got the news, Donnie called me. It was a really beautiful moment of getting to hear from an old friend but also somebody that you respect so much and have learned so much from.”
Terraciano appreciated hearing from Wahlberg, telling Us, “We had such an amazing experience on Blue Bloods that when we talk we’ll always be friends and family first. I’m happy that there are so many other people that now get to share in that amazing experience.”

While Terraciano has yet to watch Boston Blue as he focuses on his studies — he is looking forward to checking in.
“I’m going to give it the time and the respect that it deserves,” he noted. “[But in terms of returning in some capacity] I said it to Donnie on the phone. If he says the word, I’ll be there. Not just with Blue Bloods or Boston Blue but with anything in life.”
As Boston Blue has proven to Us, Sean Reagan’s legacy on Blue Bloods has made him beloved to the fans. Terraciano wasn’t expecting the outpouring of love that ensued once he wrapped up his run in the fan favorite role — but he is grateful for the support now.
“I can’t say that I expected it but I appreciate it,” he shared. “It’s so meaningful to know that people love the character that I got to share in creating. I didn’t expect it to say the least.”
When Us spoke to Amonsen in a separate interview, he shared the way he wanted to pay tribute to Terraciano, who was grateful for the thought.
“I appreciate it because not only has there been such an outcry of love from the community but there’s also a very clear love coming to the show,” he explained. “It’s hundreds if not thousands of people who depend on their livelihood for a show to be made. It really is amazing that part of that character remains. Somebody can look back and say, ‘I want to pay homage to that. I want to respect that and I want to work on making something beautiful.’”
Relive the ‘Blue Bloods’ Cast’s Sweetest Moment On and Off Camera
Terraciano made it clear that he walked away from the Blue Bloods set with years-worth of meaningful memories.
“The role provided me with such an insight into not only my own life but the lives of so many others. Because every time that you’re acting, you are learning so much about yourself and about the other person,” he explained. “So when you act with the same people for so long, you get such a deep understanding and you develop such a love for them.”

In addition to Wahlberg, Terraciano got to share the screen with costars such as Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, Len Cariou, Will Estes, Marisa Ramirez and Vanessa Ray.
“If they had asked us, I’m sure every single person in the cast would have happily stayed [on Blue Bloods] for the rest of our lives. When we found out that it was the end, I don’t think any of us really let ourselves accept for even a moment that it was a real thing that was ending,” he told Us. “When we had our last dinner scene, we just sat there. For half an hour we just went around the table telling the same old jokes that we had a thousand times before and asking the same questions that we had a thousand times before. None of us were willing to be the first to get up.”
For Terraciano, Blue Bloods provided him with a TV family. He recalled to Us how “emotionally devastating” it felt to film the finale — and how the cast has remained in each other’s lives since then.
‘Blue Bloods’ Cast Has Changed a lot From Season 1 to Season 14: A Look Back
“It was coming to terms with the thought that this opportunity is changing very, very significantly. But because of having had that opportunity, you are all getting propelled into the future in such a beautiful way,” he recalled. “I’m still in touch with a lot of people from the cast and crew. I speak to them fairly often. I’ve made a lot of friends through Blue Bloods that I will never lose.”
The hit CBS series also gave him the role of a lifetime.

“After knowing these people for 15 years, you go out into the world with everything that they’ve given you and you hope that you’ve given them something,” he gushed. “You hold them in your heart and that they’re never gone. It was a weird kind of grief — but Sean had grown into his own thing.”
He continued: “Sean had become who he needed to be by the end of the show. So I was happy to send a character off into the world and I was happy to send my loving friends off into the world.”
Terraciano is currently getting his Masters — but he is also looking forward to other opportunities that may come his way.
“At the end of last spring, I got the fantastic opportunity to work in a dear friend director Sabrina Carlier’s rendition of Annie Baker’s The Antipodes. Not only did I have that amazing opportunity that was my first play that I’ve ever been in but it really pulled me into the theater world,” he explained. “It showed me how much love I have for all forms of acting. I helped produce a friend’s short film recently, and I look forward to every opportunity that I get to act.”
He continued: “You get a passion and you can’t get rid of it to continue to act and continue to participate in creating in any way, shape or form. I would love more than anything to be an actor for the rest of my life. But I’m a huge Star Wars fanatic so I would really do anything [in that universe]. And I would love to try out a sitcom.”
Blue Bloods is streaming on Paramount+.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Demi Engemann is addressing the fallout from Jessi Ngatikaura’s Fruity Pebbles revelation.
Jessi, 33, dropped a bomb on her former friend just before Thanksgiving when she made public a sex act that Demi, 31, engaged in with her husband, Bret Engemann, which was teased during season 1 of the hit Hulu reality show.
“Since she wants to be petty and be an a**hole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it is dirty soda,” Jessi said in an Instagram Story video on November 25. “He gulps it down like water. And that is what ‘Fruity Pebbles’ means.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published on Thursday, December 4, Demi confessed that Jessi outing her and Bret made things a little awkward around the dinner table at Thanksgiving.
Biggest Claims About Demi’s Alleged Affair From the ‘Mormon Wives’ Reunion
“It’s an awkward topic, not gonna lie,” Demi told the outlet. “I had to go to Thanksgiving the next day. It was not ideal.”
Despite her initial shock at Jessi going public with the couple’s sex act, Demi said she and Bret decided to lean into the controversy.
“Fruity Pebbles has been a topic that we’ve all teased and talked about for so long and as much as it was a private moment, and we never planned on sharing this ourselves, we have nothing else left to do other than just own it and have fun with it,” Demi said.
She continued, “I think I just thought that it’s out there and it’s going to be talked about … I was able to handle the comments and everything with just more levity, which was nice.”

Demi and Jessi fell out during season 2 of Mormon Wives, with their relationship only deteriorating further in season 3, which saw Jessi reveal her affair with Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette. Marciano also claimed he kissed Demi, which she has denied.
“There are things that people have seen on camera, there’s things that people haven’t seen, and I’m kind of at peace with it,” Demi said of her feud with Jessi. “Whereas, I do feel like Jessi does take a lot of time out of her life to make it a point to dislike me.”
The influencer said she hasn’t closed the door completely on her friendship with Jessi.
“On my end, 100 percent,” Demi responded when asked if there’s a chance of the two reconciling. “If Whitney [Leavitt] and Mikayla [Matthews] can become friends again, there’s hope for Demi and Jessi.”
‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Cast’s Dating History Before the Show
“And at the end of the day, like, I never wish anyone ill will and I don’t want to ever see anyone fail or suffer. I want to see her do well and I hope she is doing well,” she added.
At the time of Jessi’s Fruity Pebbles revelation, Demi issued a statement via Instagram, writing, “What my husband and I did one time behind closed doors was a consensual and private experience in our marriage.”
“I won’t let a private act between my husband and I be a distraction from a serious act that I did not consent to,” she added, referring to her allegations that Marciano touched her without consent.

Aryna Sabalenka fell just short of the biggest single payday in women’s tennis history, losing to Elena Rybakina in the WTA Finals on Saturday, November 8.
After the match, cameras caught the player in tears while microphones picked up her trash talking her opponent.
Sabalenka, 27, smashed her racket and receded to her chair after her defeat. Amid her frustration, she muttered in Russian, “Once a year even the stick shoots,” according to video shared on social media.
The phrase is a Russian idiom that implies Sabalenka believes Rybakina’s success was a fluke, rather than a result of her skill.

Once she cooled down, Sabalenka was able to give credit to Rybakina, 26.
“I am getting old, I am getting really sensitive,” Sabalenka said during the trophy ceremony. “So many things to be proud of. Not the best performance, she was definitely the better player. She literally smashed me out of the court.”

Even in defeat, Sabalenka set a WTA record for earnings in a single season. The $2.695 million she took home for her runner-up finish brought her 2025 total to $15 million, shattering the previous mark of $12.385 million set by Serena Williams in 2013.
One of the highlights of Sabalenka’s season came at the 2025 U.S. Open, where she won her second straight championship in women’s singles, defeating Amanda Anisimova in the final.

Sabalenka struck a different tone after that match compared to her outburst at the WTA Finals, praising Anisimova, 24, and wishing her opponent luck as her career continues.
“Congrats Amanda on reaching back to back Slam final [Wimbledon and US Open],” Sabalenka said during an on-court interview. “I know how much it hurts, losing in the final. But trust me, the moment you’re going to win the first one — and you are going to win it. You play incredible tennis!”
She added, “Congrats to you and your team on the things you’ve achieved after your comeback. Girl, you’re gonna enjoy it even more after the tough losses in the final.”
Looking back at that moment and others, Sabalenka took to Instagram on Sunday, November 9, posting a carousel of photos from the year.

“And that’s a wrap on the 2025 season!” she wrote in the caption. “This was a tough year, but incredibly rewarding. A Grand Slam title, World #1 for the second consecutive year 🤯, and a few trophies later… I couldn’t have done it without Team Tiger — the people that are by my side time and time again. I’ve learned so many lessons this year through the ups and the downs of every single tournament and the training in between. Beyond blessed and grateful for it all. ♥️ 2026 season — bring it on 💪🏼”
“One more meu amor!” her boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, wrote in the comments. “Can’t wait for 2026.”
Sabalenka and Frangulis first met in January 2024, going Instagram official that July. Speaking to Us Weekly exclusively in June 2025, she explained what it meant to have his support amid a grueling tennis season.
“His support means so much to me,” she told Us. “Being on the road and having him support me, to make me laugh and to be able to workout together, makes life on the road feel more like home.”

Tiffany Haddish is not shutting down the idea of having a baby anytime soon.
Haddish, 45, exclusively spoke with Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 28, at the 2025 PAC NYC ICONS of CULTURE Gala at the Perelman Performing Arts Center in New York. The comedian and actress told Us about the baby “agreement” she has with her “gay homeboy” Jason Lee.
“We have this whole agreement [that] when he wants to have a baby or whatever, I’m going to carry the baby,” Haddish told Us. “I’ve always been saying to him, let’s have a baby. Let’s have a baby.”
Haddish and Lee, 47, sent the internet into a frenzy back in August when the two shared a photo on Instagram of them posing with an infant. The post, which now has over 246,000 likes and 4,000 comments, was captioned: “Cats out the bag ❤️.” Many fans and fellow celebrities were left wondering what this meant for the duo.
Who Is Jason Lee? Meet the Podcaster Friends With Tiffany Haddish
Haddish was married to William Stewart from 2008 until she filed for divorce in 2011. The divorce was finalized two years later. Haddish dated rapper Common from 2020 to 2021 after they met on the set of action-comedy The Kitchen, in which they starred alongside Elisabeth Moss, Domhnall Gleeson, Margo Martindale and more.
Haddish told The Washington Post in 2023 that Common, 53, was her “healthiest” relationship, despite him breaking up with her over the phone.
“[It was] the healthiest, the funnest [sic] relationship I’ve ever had,” Haddish shared in the interview with The Post. “It’s where I felt safest out of all the relationships I’ve ever had.”
In May 2024 Haddish spoke about her dating preferences on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.
“I don’t think I’ll ever f*** a movie star. Ever,” Haddish said. “I fed an entertainer. I don’t think I’ll ever do that again. I think I’ll f one again, but never in a relationship.”
Haddish told Us that a future partner needs to have a “good credit score,” and also be an “excellent communicator.”
Tiffany Haddish’s Ups and Downs Through the Years
“They need to have an EIN [Employer Identification Number]. I need to know that they know how to handle multiple personalities at one time,” Haddish said. “So that’s why I need them to have an EIN with employees and know how to motivate people to move forward to do great things. Cause that’s what I’m going to need.”
Haddish also provided recent insight on what else she’s looking for in future relationships in the trailer for her new Peacock series, Tiffany Haddish Goes Off. In the unscripted series, which is set to premiere on Thursday, November 13, Haddish and three of her childhood friends travel throughout Africa on the ultimate girls trip.
In the trailer, one of Haddish’s friends asks her, “What would you want your man to call you?” To which Haddish responds: “Empress of the universe.”
Inspired by the 2017 film Girls Trip, which starred Haddish alongside, Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith, the six-episode docuseries seems to include heartwarming moments between Haddish and her girlfriends, Selena Martin, Shermona Long and Sparkle Clark, as well as a tease to a potential wedding ceremony with Haddish upfront and center.

Elaine Hendrix has been acting since the ‘90s — but it wasn’t always her main career path. When the actress was injured in a 1992 car accident, her dance career came to a halt and she was forced to change course.
“I believe that everything happens for a reason and it pushed me in this direction that completely worked out, thankfully,” Hendrix said with a laugh during a July 2016 interview with the Huffington Post, reflecting on why she chose to jump into acting headfirst.
It’s been more than three decades since Hendrix was hit by a car riding her bike, but her accident still haunts her. In fact, during season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, Hendrix revealed that the aftermath of the crash makes it harder to compete.
While pushing past her physical limits on the ABC competition series, Hendrix was hospitalized for an unrelated injury in October, causing fans to worry. However, Hendrix was given the green light to continue on her DWTS journey beginning with the Tuesday, November 4, episode.

Scroll down to learn more about Hendrix’s car accident and DWTS injury:
“I had just come to Los Angeles to begin my professional career and very soon after moving here I was riding my bike and got hit by a car,” Hendrix told the Huffington Post in July 2016, noting that one moment “changed everything for me.”
During her September DWTS opening package, Hendrix revealed she is “really lucky” that she “walked away” from the accident but didn’t expand further.
The Parent Trap star told the Huffington Post in July 2016 that she began her career as a “classically trained dancer in modern and contemporary jazz.” Following her accident, Hendrix said, “Dance became something that was very painful to do, so it just pushed me more in the direction of acting.”
Hendrix recalled booking a few guest starring roles before landing her first series. “That’s when I stopped dancing professionally but I never stopped dancing altogether,” she told the outlet. “It’s just that whenever I dance I need to be prepared for the fact that I will be really sore and can’t quite do the things I used to do, but that’s OK.”
Alan Bersten and Elaine Hendrix Break Down DWTS’ Meredith Blake ‘Homage’
Hendrix revealed during an October episode of Dancing With the Stars that following her ‘90s car accident, a titanium joint was placed in her right foot. She said during Wicked Night that the joint “renders half my foot unusable.”
“Every week, my body shifts into a new pain spot, but I just don’t want to let it stop me,” the actress explained during the show package. “I know my determination is going to win it, just getting there is quite a journey.”

During rehearsals for Halloween Week in October, Hendrix was rushed to the hospital after experiencing pain in her ribs. The contestant later revealed via her Instagram that she injured her ribs during her “Defying Gravity” performance one week prior and they “just seized up” during practice.
“I couldn’t move. They brought me to the hospital,” Hendrix said in the Tuesday, October 28, video. “The doctor has said that with a day or two of rest, I should be able to continue and that’s exactly what I want to do. I want to dance, I want to keep doing this.”
Hendrix’s dance partner, Alan Bersten, explained during the October 28 episode that while they were working on their Argentine tango, “Elaine kind of froze and said she can’t move and she can’t breathe, and something happened with her rib.”
He noted she was in “so much pain” and therefore he had no idea if they would dance that evening. The pair did not perform and were instead judged on their practice routine.
‘Dancing With the Stars’ Injuries Through the Years
Despite missing Halloween Night, Hendrix and Bersten scored 8s across the board from the judges on October 28. With fans’ votes, they were saved from elimination. Hendrix’s doctors, meanwhile, cleared her to continue on in the competition.
“You guys voted, we are going to be safe. We got another dance to [perform],” Bersten confirmed during a TikTok Live following the episode. “We’re going to take it easy but we will be back for the show. We will take this week easy.”
